San Andreas Department of Education is authorized by statute to ensure equal access to education and to promote educational excellence, and to ensure equal opportunities to participate, for all beneficiaries, in any project or activity carried out under State programs.

The Department of Education keeps an index of available State-funded grants. Applicants are instructed to read the eligibility criteria before submitting an application. All applications must include an approved admission letter to any college in the State of San Andreas, OR show proof of continuation of studies.

Chinatown Heritage Scholarship (CHS)
  • $4,750 per semester

    The "Chinatown Heritage Scholarship" is a state government and Los Santos Chinatown Community Development Foundation (LSCCDF) joint scholarship that provides financial support to ethnic Chinese residents of Chinatown or students of Chinese heritage. The scholarship recognizes the importance of cultural diversity and seeks to encourage students to embrace their heritage while pursuing higher education. It is designed to provide opportunities to students who may face financial barriers to obtaining a college degree and aims to support the development of a diverse and inclusive community. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, financial need, and community involvement. Recipients are encouraged to use their education and experiences to give back to their communities and promote cultural diversity.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;
    - Demonstrate high academic achievement in relevant field of study (Grade Point Average 4.0, "B" or better), or an evaluated foreign equivalent;
    - Demonstrate financial need.

Riley King Academic Excellence Award (RKAE)
  • $5,250 per semester

    RKAE offers financial assistance to underrepresented BAME (Black, Asian, and minority ethnic) residents of Davis pursuing higher education in political science, government or other relevant degrees. High school seniors or college freshman, sophomores, or juniors pursuing a college degree in the relevant fields are eligible to apply.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;
    - Demonstrate that they reside in Davis;
    - Demonstrate financial need;
    - Demonstrate high academic achievement in relevant field of study (weighted Grade Point Average 4.7, "A-" or better);

The Port Perpetuity Award (PPA)
  • $3,500 per semester

    PPA distinguishes students who are studying maritime logistics and port management in the State of San Andreas.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;

San Andreas Asian Pacific Scholarship (SAAP)
  • $4,500 per semester

    SAAP provides financial assistance to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) residents pursuing higher education. Applicants are evaluated based on the following: first generation student, academic achievement, leadership, contribution to API community, and ethnic diversity. Special awards are also available for students studying health and/or business.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;

San Andreas Hispanic Education Award (HEA)
  • $5,000 per semester

    HEA aims to promote academic excellence and diversity in further education. Grants are offered to underrepresented Hispanic students who want to further enhance their education. High school seniors or college freshman, sophomores, or juniors pursuing a college degree in the natural sciences field are eligible to apply.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;
    - Demonstrate high academic achievement in relevant field of study (Grade Point Average 4.0, "B" or better);
    - Demonstrate financial need.

San Andreas Single Parent Scholarship (SASP)
  • $5,500 per semester

    SASP's goal is to help eliminate one of the leading obstacles preventing single parents and minority students from attending college -- the soaring cost of tuition. When students have the opportunity to attend college, society thrives. The San Andreas Single Parent Scholarship provides talented students with the means to be able to reach a higher education, which helps develop the future leaders of Los Santos. High school seniors or college freshman pursuing a college degree in the business field are eligible to apply.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;
    - Demonstrate that they reside in a single parent household;
    - Demonstrate financial need;

Desmond Brown South Central Achievement Award (DBSCAA)
  • $5,000 per semester

    DBSCAA promotes academic excellence and diversity through financial assistance to underrepresented BAME (Black, Asian, and minority ethnic) residents from South Central Los Santos pursuing higher education. High school seniors or college freshman, sophomores, or juniors pursuing a college degree in the business field are eligible to apply. Special awards are also available for students studying nursing.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;
    - Demonstrate that they reside in South Central;
    - Demonstrate financial need;
    - Demonstrate high academic achievement in relevant field of study (Grade Point Average 4.0, "B" or better);

Hendricks Alliance for Women in Business Scholarship (HAWS)
  • $4,500 per semester

    HAWS' purpose is to empower and encourage underrepresented women to take on a leading role in the industries. Women who are high school seniors or college freshman, sophomores, or juniors pursuing a college degree in business or a similar field are eligible to apply.

    Eligible applicants must:

    - Be U.S. citizen, or permanent U.S. resident;
    - Have some form of involvement in community service;
    - Demonstrate financial need;
    - Demonstrate high academic achievement in relevant field of study (Grade Point Average 4.0, "B" or better);
