Answer: As a dedicated member of the Los Santos Fire Department, I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of President of United Firefighters of Los Santos City, IAFF Local 112 Union.
After 137 years as an established agency, 76 of which we have been an ISO Class 1 agency, we have gone without our own established union. This has left us, the employees of the Department and public servants of Los Santos, without a proper line of communication with our Department leadership. This has left us without a voice in decisions that affect our working conditions and welfare. As President, I will be committed to advocating for the rights for all employees, ensuring that our concerns are heard and addressed.
If elected, my primary responsibility will be to represent the interests of our union members and work tirelessly to ensure that we have a voice in decisions that affect our working conditions. I will negotiate with department leadership and other stakeholders to improve our working conditions, increase wages and benefits, and address any other issues that may arise. Additionally, I will oversee the day-to-day operations of the union, including managing finances, organizing events and activities, and working to recruit new union members.
I believe that my dedication, experience, and commitment to the union makes me the ideal candidate for the position of President. With your support, I am confident that we can work together to make a real difference in the lives of our members and the community we serve.
