  • Job Description and Duties
  • As part of the SCO Team, the public outreach officer will develop relationships and host events for the State Government in various settings, from health departments to community-based grassroots organizations. The public outreach officer will also act as a point of contact for members of not only the media, but non-government organizations, charities and other 501(c) exempt organizations, and corporations. Public outreach officers provide tailored assistance to constituents in developing relationships with the state as a whole, and carrying out programs and events that allow both the state and constituents to thrive.

  • Knowledge and Abilities
  • Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform high confidence and english proficiency and policy –
    influencing functions effectively. Such overall ability requires possession of most of the
    following more specific knowledge and abilities:

    (1) Knowledge of the organization and functions of San Andreas State Government including
    the organization and practices of the Legislature and the Executive Branch; principles,
    practices, and trends of public administration, organization, and management; techniques of
    organizing and motivating groups; program development and evaluation.

    (2) Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of professional communication and
    administrative relevant assignments within SCO.; integrate the activities of a diverse program
    to attain common goals.
